Along with photography, I divide my time between clay and metal - I hand build my pots with slabs of clay plus weld found-metal sculptures. Since I don't sell my artworks, this results in a surplus of finished pieces which I give away to family, friends and neighbors.
Giving away my pottery to strangers is a challenge. Because of their bulk, I'm not able to slip one under a windshield wiper like I do with my photos but I like leaving them on a car.
So while out and about, I place a pot on a random car up by the windshield so it's easily seen by the driver, otherwise they may drive away while the pot rolls off the hood - YIKES, wouldn't want that. On these pots is my card with the following on the back:
